Life Enriching Communities (LEC), as a family, provides life-enriching services and accommodations for senior adults through caring Christian communities. It is a not-for-profit ministry dedicated to providing services primarily for older adults. Founded in 1899 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church, the communities now provide services for persons of diverse economic circumstances, ethnic origins and religious affiliations.
LEC provides services to approximately 1000 residents with approximately 650 associates and over 1500 volunteers. The family of residents, associates and volunteers strives to minister to the whole person in a manner that preserves and promotes human dignity and individual freedom, security, peace of mind, healing, spiritual growth, mental stimulation and wholeness; nurtured in a culturally stimulating environment. Accommodations from Independent Living to Nursing Care and community services are offered, striving to provide the finest services possible in a fiscally prudent manner.
